Conference Program Committee

Comprised of four or more and chaired by NAUG volunteers, in coordination with the designated NAUG board representative makes recommendations for annual conference educational programming, subject to approval by the Board.

Specifically, the committee will review results of surveys and other member feedback to guide development of conference education sessions and "tracks" of learning. The committee will help solicit and invite speakers/presenters for sessions. The activities of the committee will primarily be conducted via conference calls and e-mail. The committee chair will also attend the conference calls of the Board throughout the year, as well as the spring Board meeting.

Timeline:	Late Nov-Dec 2006 - review surveys and attendee feedback
	Jan-Feb 2007 - develop primary tracks and topics for 2007 conference
	Mar-Apr 2007 - report recommendations to Board at spring meeting
	May-July 2007 - solicit presenters, adjust slate/schedule as needed
	Aug-Conference time - finalize details, coordinate logistics for event

Membership Committee

Comprised of four or more and chaired by NAUG volunteers, in coordination with the designated NAUG board representative makes recommendations for membership initiatives, subject to approval by the Board.

Specifically, in 2007 the committee will:

Develop printed brochure for mailing to prospective NAUG members (balance of gomembers’ customers not already members) and for "leave-behind" by gomembers’ staff

Recruit prospective members via phone and e-mail after initial mailing

Implement process to improve demographic/personal data in membership database regarding each member organization and its contacts

Develop/encourage renewed activity on NAUG list-servs

Consider and develop recommendations for additional membership benefits
